Melissa Mahan's professional journey is nothing short of impressive. She embarked on her insurance career with Liberty Mutual in 2003 and was quickly promoted several times. In 2009 she started her own insurance agency from scratch. Today Melissa’s agency, Mahan and Mahan Insurance, has partnered with Vetare Insurance & Consulting Services, Ltd. bringing the identical service philosophies we define every day. Melissa has a strong, profitable, and diverse book of business that will benefit from the insurance carrier partnerships we have at VICS.
In her personal life, she is a dedicated single mom to her beautiful 3-year-old daughter ‘Frankie’. Together they love adventuring the outdoors and traveling to new places. She is also a proud member of Women's Professional Network, an organization committed to the empowerment of women in the professional world. Above all, Melissa values helping her clients navigate their insurance risk, while also mentoring young professional women looking to start their own businesses. Obie Alyousef came to Vetare Insurance in October 2023 as a full-time Producer and has been producing since 2021. After graduating with his bachelor’s in 2016 he tried his talents in a multitude of occupations until he found his passion in insurance. In his free time, Obie enjoys time with family and friends, going to the gym and traveling.

Ujala Mandava has been with Vetare Insurance as of October 2023. She has over 20 years of work experience in various industries, which has helped her to relate better to her clients! When she isn't doing arts & crafts with her two daughters, she's trying to spend quality time with her family whether outdoors or enjoying watching Frozen for the 100th time.

Since her graduation from SUNY Oneonta in May 2023, Amy has been learning the ins and outs of insurance and assisting our customers’ calls directly. Amy has a passion for ceramic art and animals, especially her two Goldens- Stella and Sassie.
